Coach Brandon Jenkins writes about alignment and caring about the mission. He is pictured in his office.

Alignment doesnโ€™t come from telling people
what to care about.

It comes from helping them connect what they
already care about to the mission.

Here’s something we do with each ready room in LRR:
(๐ŸŽฅ Check out the clip: https://lnkd.in/eiMC8CwR)

Ask your team to reflect:

Give them space.
Let them reflect a bit.
Then open the dialogue.

Look for the connections between team and
individual values.

Why does this matter?

When your teammates are aligned with the team’s
purpose, they’ll run through brick walls to win.

Thatโ€™s the work we do inside Leadership Ready Room.

Helping leaders facilitate these kinds of real
conversations that connect values to mission.

Whatโ€™s one way you help your team see the connection
between their values and your organizationโ€™s purpose?

Are you a leader looking for this kind of room for either
yourself or another leader on your team?

Reach out and let’s continue the conversation.
