Youโre in a leadership role, facing big decisions, and
your beliefs are holding you back.
Hereโs the thing:
Why?
Because we operate based on beliefs and assumptions
that have been shaped by our past experiences.
Hereโs the kicker:
Take this example from my career:
-> I used to think I had to know the “right” answer before
speaking up in meetings.
-> I thought others expected me to have it figured out.
-> I didnโt want to look stupid.
What did I realize?
- Sharing perspective isn’t about being right or wrong.
- Itโs about bringing diverse views to the table.
But that belief held me back for years.
How many of your beliefs might be wrong or outdated
for the role youโre in now?
- Whatโs keeping you from acting?
- What assumptions are you carrying around?
Then you test them to see if theyโre true.
- Still valid for this context? Keep them.
- No longer valid for the context? Get rid of them.
- Adopt new ones that empower growth and progress.
What belief are you ready to test?
